ABSTRACT. In this
contribution we will elaborate on child development,
growing identity and dialogical self in therapy for
children between 7 and 12 years of age. Therapy
sessions using the Self-Confrontation Method with
children are analyzed. The focus of the analysis is
on the communicative attitude of the therapist. This
leads to the formulation of communicative strategies
for self investigation with children.
